CWD or devoucoux saddle?
I have a budget of $3,000-$5,000
I show in hunters/equation. I really like the comfort of devoucoux but the cwd have a cleaner, more refined look. There's many plus and minuses but I can't choose. I was thinking cwd in all buffalo.. seat size 17 with a 5 flap.. but I'd get it custom to me and my warmblood's back. Any suggestions?
I have a CWD, not buffalo though. I really like it, I show jumpers mostly and it is very comfortable. I had terrible lower back pain from riding and after buying the CWD I don't have any pain there at all. I have ridden in a devoucoux and didn't like it at all. It hurt my knees for some reason and put my legs in a bad position. I also didn't feel secure in the seat. But everyone is different and every horse is different. I would suggest finding a CWD dealer and a devoucoux dealer and taking both saddles for a trial period (usually around a week) to feel out which is better for YOU.
