How much to ask for a dressage saddle?
It's used, but in very good condition. Saddle itself is unmarked, leathers are Courbette. Comes with irons as well. Can someone give me a general idea of what something like this would sell for?
There is no brand marking, so I have no way of knowing the brand of the saddle itself. I only know that the leathers are Courbette.
Rugbie is right... No one else here understands that dressage saddles are a lot more expensive than any other english saddle! I bought mine, (it was used for 3 yrs and worn in quite a bit where the leathers sat!) for 2,000 dollars. A brand new saddle can be bought for about the same price if not more. Your saddle seems to be in almost new "looking" condition! I would take it to a tack store and ask them to sell it on consignment for a set amount and nothing less... I would probably set the set price at 1,500! Good luck!
