How do you wash your saddle pads?
I recently bought 2 saddle pads. One is a quilted hot pink one...just a regular square pad. The other one is a fleecy cotton show pad. On the tags it said you could wash and dry it but what settings should i put the washer on? Also can I wash them with other clothes?
i wash my everyday saddle pads in the washer just on the regular cycle with cold water. As for the show pad you might want to either wash it by hand or put it on the gentle cycle. reshape them by hand and air dry them (not in the tumble drier). i wouldn't suggest washing them with your clothes, they get kinda dirty, and horse sweaty, and hairy and you dont really want that on your clothes!
